24 Christmas Memories – 15

24 Christmas Memories – 15

We’re 15 days in to our 24 Christmas Memories calendar and today’s post will bring you right up to the cusp of 2015 (a happy coincidence… it wasn’t planned).

There are wayyyyyy too many photos that I could include here, since Christmas 2014 was our last Christmas in Canada. We said a lot of goodbyes, were invited to a lot of homes and had a lot of people in our home.

So please indulge my drastic over-simplification…

24 Christmas Memories – 14

It’s day 14 and I’m taking you to France… thought not as you might expect.

You see… there’s a little bit of France located about 25km (15mi) off the coast of Newfoundland, one of Canada’s easternmost provinces.

Allons-y!(let’s go!)

24 Christmas Memories – 13

It’s day 13 and today I’d like to take you back… wayyyy back; well before our family was founded and even well before Liz or I were born.

Yesterday I talked about things from the past that act as vehicles of memory or at leas as a connection to the past, even if they were too early for us to attach memories to them.

Curious? Keep reading…

24 Christmas Memories – 12

It’s day 12 and today’s post will be, to a certain extent, a celebration of normality if you will…

I can’t say that today’s memory is of one thing in particular, rather it’s about 2-3 things that were part of pretty much every Christmas, when we were living in Canada.

Ready?

24 Christmas Memories – 11

Welcome to day 11 of this year’s walk down Christmas Memory Lane!

As much as yesterday’s memory was quite unique, today’s memory is, in some ways, even more unique… in both a positive and a sad way at the same time.

You’ll see what I mean…

24 Christmas Memories – 10

It’s day 10 and I guarantee you… most of you have never had a Christmas gift like the one I’m going to share with you today.

We knew that this gift would be coming at some point, but we had no idea that it would start on Christmas Eve and stretch through until Christmas Day.

… My wife put up with a LOT! 😅 …

24 Christmas Memories – 9

Welcome to day 9 of this year’s walk down Christmas Memory Lane!

Good news… we’re staying put in Saint John. Well… at least for the beginning. We’ll be preparing for some holiday travel, but won’t actually go anywhere.

You’ll see what I mean…

24 Christmas Memories – 8

Welcome to day 8 of this year’s walk down Christmas Memory Lane!

If it feels like were zig-zagging back ‘n’ forth a lot between Saint John and McKee’s in the last couple of posts… that’d be understandable. Today’s post will not be a departure from that trend.

We’re back in Saint John…
