Lockdown #2 – Day 16: Timo’s Day

Lockdown #2 – Day 16: Timo’s Day

For me, the day started out teaching Bible School via Zoom.
For Liz, the day started out finishing up last night’s work… food prep.
For Soph & Dominic, it began slow.
For Timo, even slower.

He was awakened by a phone call from a friend…

“Happy Birthday…”

…began the voice on the other end of the line.

Besides that call from Bordeaux, the kids always wake up to a basket filled with their favourite treats. So once the phone call was done, and once he’d had breakfast he spent a good part of the day camped out in his room gaming.

He’d called the shots today though… Liz prepared one of his favourite meals – raclette and then we finished off with home-made cake.

If you’re looking for a different cake idea, try this…
– two layers of thin shortbread, shaped like numbers
– thick & chilled whipped cream between & on top
– fruit or candy to garnish.

I’ll tell you what… he’s a good one this guy. Very hard worker and started Bible quizzing this year as well. Proud of this young man. Pray for him, that the Lord gives him the strength to go all the way through this quizzing year and that the Lord continues to lead him in what is now his 16th year.

Thanks for stopping by
God bless you today!
