Welcome to day twenty-two of my advent calendar of ornaments. This year, rather than 2020 & 2021’s Cheesy Christmas, it’s our hodge-podge of a Christmas tree that’s front and center… I’m giving you a tour of our tree, one ornament at a time, until Christmas Day.
Today’s ornament is 100% new & no exotic story to it… still, we kind of love it…
Stars & Snowmen…
Remember the whole thing about our “theme-not-a-theme“… hearts & stars? Well, I happened to be in the supermarket last year and was picking up some stocking stuffers both for our family as well as for some of Liz’s family that was visiting when I happened upon these little snowmen stars.

There’s really nothing particularly exotic about them, since they didn’t hail from a far-away country, nor do they remind us of strong family ties or times gone by. Nope… they were a relatively last-minute after thought, picked up at a local grocery store, here in Châtellerault.
But… they’re just so. darn. cute! What’s more… they totally feed into Liz’s love of snowmen (let’s face it… who DOESN’T love snowmen?). So yeah… there are five of them on our tree… three of which will depart whenever the kids take flight eventually, but no rush!
… and that’s today’s Christmas ornament.

Give the gift of Parisian strolls this Christmas.
