Given what’s going on in France today, I suppose I could also have entitled this post: Babysteps in absurdity, but we’ll leave it as is, since what’s reflected by the existing title will impact the world more than ‘Babysteps…’

Let me tell you what’s happening in France today, then I’ll share a few thoughts on the Election.

It’s always a toss-up. For the French, it’s considered the National Youth Convention. Because it meets a need on a broader European level and typically attracts young people from our churches all around western Europe, it’s also known as, informally, as the European Youth Convention.

It too was impacted by the national lockdown, but thanks to technology… it was also a highlight of our weekend.

As of yesterday at least it was not easy to purchase physical books in this country.

Let me explain…

France, of late, has an especially tense relationship with Islam. This is adding to the overall tension in our country right now… already greatly uneasy due to COVID.

Let me give you a quick overview.
