After stops in Holland, Paris and Belgium… today’s special Christmas memory is very Canadian!

If you’re just joining me for the 2023 Christmas countdown, I’m doing something different.

Rather than the Cheesy Christmas series (2020 & 2021), and the tour of our favourite Christmas tree ornaments (last year), I’m going to share some Christmas memories with you that I’m pulling from deep within the bowels of my Apple Photos library.

Yesterday, I began the countdown to Christmas.

In years past, I’ve “Advent Calendared” my way through December with the Cheesy Christmas series (2020 & 2021), and a tour of our favourite Christmas tree ornaments. As I mentioned yesterday, however, this year I’m going to share some Christmas memories with you.

Let’s pick up where we left off yesterday: the early 2000s…

How is it possible that today is December 1st already? Like every year, the weeks & days fly by at an increasingly fast pace.

In years past, I’ve offered up a bit of an advent calendar during the 24 days leading up to Christmas. In 2020 & 2021 I shared with you our Cheesy Christmas advent calendar. Last year, we didn’t cheese things up and I opted instead to walk you around special ornaments on our Christmas tree.

This year, I thought I’d do something a bit different. How about a walk through history?

This year, I’m going to share with you some special Christmas memories through the years; quick glimpses into moments that have warmed our hearts through the yule-tide years.
