Today I’m going to give you a side of Short-Term Missions that you won’t find in the newsletters or in the promotional materials from your sending organization. If, however, you spend any length of time on the mission field (long enough for the “honeymoon stage” to wear off), you will experience.
Kids… It’s all about kids! Passing on the faith we’ve received, to the next generation. That’s why I’m writing you from the Paris region today.
Getting a photo of Sis. Jocelyne was never an easy feat… it was quite a challenge in fact. For whatever reason, she was generally quite camera-shy (to put it lightly). On Thursday, however, we bid her “Au revoir” (until we meet again).

I wish I could say that we were spending Liz’s birthday in Paris, but alas no… we’re far from being well dressed and enjoying a dinner cruise on the Seine as we were when this photo was taken a few years ago. I’m in dirty, smelly clothes & surrounded by some 30 animals while she is in town with the kids… at least for this morning.
We sat with a plate full of goodies in one hand and a cup of tea in the other. All the while, a white Australian cat curled up next to the wood stove in the fireplace….
