Here we are, once again, at the end of the day and I get to tell you about…
Today’s #3GoodThings
- Toward the bottom you will see a photo of today’s sunrise as I drove to Angers to teach. My entire drive is no longer spent in darkness as the days slowly get a bit longer and begin a bit earlier. This morning’s sunrise was short-lived (not long after this, it disappeared behind a cloud bank), but as you can see, it was beautiful. (It’s not the best pic as I snapped it quickly on the side of the road… but you get the picture).
- Most of my drive up was spent in quiet (no radio or music) and I was able to have a good long talk with the Lord about a number of things that were weighing heavily. It’s good to have someone to talk to when you can’t always talk to someone (if you know what I mean 😉 )
- This evening I got to share the living room with Soph and, in between reading, be her acting grammar/vocab reference as she worked on some French homework. It was a rare pleasure as she most often does homework in the quiet confines of her room. I’m thankful for this impromptu time together.
