Welcome to day four of my advent calendar of ornaments so-to-speak. Since we’re not doing the Cheesy Christmas advent calendar this year, I’m replacing it with a tour of our hodge-podge of a Christmas tree – one ornament at a time until Christmas Day.
I’m throwing a snowball your way for today’s ornament…
Snowball in a Hat!
Liz didn’t grow up celebrating Christmas with Santa & all the reindeer and even the European notion of St. Nicholas or Father Christmas, wasn’t overly present in her upbringing. That, among other reasons, partly explains the fact that Santa doesn’t play a huge role in our Christmas…
Now snowmen, on the other hand make up the difference!

Where the Santa-shoe ornament was one I did for myself… this is the one I did for Liz since she L-O-V-E-S snowmen!
I started out doing a simple bauble, same as the “shoe”, but in white rather than red. I then gave it a bit of personality and a big pom-pom hat.
I’ll tell you the same thing I told Liz… the nose is supposed to be a carrot, but instead, it seems to resemble to a slice of pizza… so your indulgence is appreciated. 😆
… and that’s today’s Christmas ornament.

Give the gift of Parisian strolls this Christmas.
My book on Amazon.
And why not beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I’m sure your Liz loves her snowman even if the nose resembles a pizza 🙂
Thanks Carol… yes, she DOES love it – I’m probably the only one with pizza on the brain, but you know us creative types… for better or for worse, we’re our own worst critics!
Haha,,,we most certainly are, Mike 🙂
