I’m beginning this post as I’m on hold with the Canada Revenue Agency (Canada’s IRS). I was on hold for 15minutes, summarized my inquiry to an agent, then was on hold for another 15 minutes while they researched my history. That’s when the call dropped.

I’m on hold again and the estimated wait time is 30-40minutes. Seriously #RevenueCanada!? 😦

As the world continues to, to varying degrees, hold its collective breath, awaiting some kind of resolution to the drawn out election process in the USA, the sun rises on another Saturday morning in France.

I didn’t do a post yesterday and in previous ‘daily series’ runs, I’ve tried silly to ensure there was one every day. Yesterday came & went and no post. I’m not going to stress about … Not sure about you, but I’m quite convinced that, in some areas, I have higher expectations of myself and extend lesser grace than is really healthy.

Here we are, one week in. In some ways it doesn’t feel like a lockdown, in otherways, it really does.

Classes resumed after their autumn break meaning I had to get used to yet another video-conference app because classes resumed remotely. Up to this point I’d done ZOOM and Microsoft Teams, but this week it was Cisco Webex. Honestly… enough new technology already! 🙂
