Ahhh Monday you deceptive thing you! You hold the promise of a new week, but you hide it behind the necessary languishing that hangs on until at least coffee #2! (and then some!) 🙂

Forgive my being overdramatic. Mondays aren’t that bad. The secret is having a good autopilot system until the state of “being alive” kicks in.

After Friday and Saturday…. you can be sure that last night was, again, an early night. But today is the Lord’s day, so a good night’s sleep gave way to a relatively early morning with lots of coffee to get us off to church!

I had a number of things to get done last night, but I didn’t do any of them… such was my cup of triple EX-haustion. In stead, before midnight, I konked out on the bed. (I know… “konked” isn’t the most blog-worthy word, but you understand it implicitly, right? 🙂 )

That gave me fuel to face the day and experience…

Lousy play on words (prefixes actually), I know, but that’s what you get when you teach for 7 hours straight, come home just long enough to have a quiet coffee, then climb into the car for a 3.5hr drive up to Melun in preparation for a Bible School weekend.

Even long days give way to GoodThings, so here are…
